“He knows alone who has wandered wide,
and far has fared on the way,
what manner of mind a man doth own
who is wise of head and heart.”
-Hávamál, Stanza 18
Well met! Greetings, I’m Fulco. For the past ten years, I’ve walked the path of Norse Paganism, drawn to the ancient wisdom and enduring strength of the old ways. My journey began with a deep fascination for the sagas and Eddas, and what started as curiosity has grown into a profound spiritual practice that shapes how I understand the world and my place within it.
I spend much of my time studying the primary sources—the Prose Edda, the Poetic Edda, and the various sagas that preserve the voices of our ancestors. These texts aren’t just historical documents to me; they’re living teachings that offer guidance for navigating both the mundane and the sacred aspects of life. Through careful study and reflection, I seek to understand not just what the ancients believed, but how those beliefs can inform a meaningful practice today.
The runes hold a special place in my spiritual work. More than just an ancient alphabet, I’ve found them to be a profound system for divination, meditation, and personal insight. Each rune carries layers of meaning—cosmological, practical, and deeply personal. Whether I’m casting for guidance or simply contemplating their wisdom during my daily practice, the runes continue to reveal new depths after all these years.
My practice honors the gods and goddesses of Asgard, the land spirits of my local area, and the ancestors who walked before me. I believe in maintaining the old customs while adapting them thoughtfully to modern life—celebrating the seasonal cycles, making offerings, and striving to live with the honor and courage that the ancient Norse valued so highly.
This path has taught me that the old ways aren’t about escaping the present, but about finding timeless wisdom that can guide us through contemporary challenges. I’m always eager to connect with others who share this calling, whether they’re just beginning their journey or have been walking this path for years.
